Schaltag and PAVIS Engineering have been acquired by Helanis
Helanis AG in Zurich (CH) supported by a Swiss MBI team has acquired an Industrial Group consisting of Schaltag AG in Effretikon (CH), Schaltag CZ s.r.o in Ústí nad Orlicí (CZ), PAVIS Engineering GmbH in Ravensburg (DE) and PAVIS Engineering Ibérica SL (ES),a leading supplier of electrical cabinets and electro-mechanical systems as well as engineering and automation solutions.
The leading industrial solution provider has been successfully acquired by a management buy-in team. Over the years the company has built an extensive expertise in engineering, procurement and manufacturing. For more than 60 years, Schaltag has been providing medium-sized companies, large corporations, and start-ups with customized services for automation, electrical cabinet, apparatus, machine and plant engineering as well as cable assembly. Until 2015, Schaltag was part of the listed Swiss Rieter Group, the world’s leading supplier of systems for manufacturing yarn from staple fibers in spinning mills. PAVIS Engineering is providing for 30 years engineering and manufacturing services for international brands related to the process automation.
The Industrial Group has over 250 employees and 11,000 m2 of production space at locations in Switzerland (Effretikon near Zurich), Czech Republic (Ústí nad Orlicí), Germany (Ravensburg) and Spain (Valladolid) which enables projects optimization in terms of flexibility and costs. Schaltag Group and PAVIS Engineering are providing customer-oriented solutions by prioritizing on quality, efficiency and short lead times.
All employees at the four locations as well as all customer and supplier relationships are taken over by the acquiring Helanis. The completed sale of the Schaltag Group and PAVIS Engineering to Helanis results in a focused industrial group and will ensure further sustainable growth, development of the product portfolio and customer relations.
