Majority takeover of Ziegler + Cie and Diamant Weber

The Swiss company Diabrasive AG, which holds various participations in the surface technology sector, is taking over an additional 25% and thus the majority in the two companies Ziegler + Cie AG and Diamant Weber AG. Ramus & Company represented the interests of the seller in this transaction.

 

With the majority takeover of Ziegler + Cie AG («Ziegler») and Diamant Weber AG («Diamant Weber»), the Diabrasive Group («Diabrasive») is strengthening its industrial activities and thus enabling the two companies to make long-term succession arrangements. The management of Ziegler and Diamant Weber will gradually be handed over to the next generation in order to secure the continued existence of the company in the long term. The location will be retained in Winterthur with the existing employees and will be further strengthened over the coming years.
