Schaffner AG implements future-oriented succession solution

The company in Müllheim TG, which has been family-owned since it was founded, is handing over the garden furniture manufacturer to the next Swiss family.

Schaffner was founded in 1954 by Peter and Annemarie Schaffner and successfully built up. From 1992, Martin Schaffner became the second generation to manage the company and has continued to develop it to this day. As part of a future-oriented succession plan, Martin Schaffner has decided to place the traditional company and the existing site in new hands.

The experienced entrepreneur Urs Haenggi, together with a family office, is taking over 100% of the shares in the Swiss company and will manage the company as Managing Director in future. Mr. Martin Schaffner will remain loyal to the company and will continue to support it during the transition phase. This will ensure continuity for Schaffner’s customers, employees and all partners.
