Long-term Succession Solution for Neratec Solutions

Westermo Network Technologies AB, a subsidiary of the listed Swedish Beijer Electronics Group AB acquires 100% of the Swiss company Neratec Solutionsand continues Neratec’s growth strategy with this succession solution. Ramus & Company advised the shareholders of Neratec Solutions on the transaction.

 

With the acquisition of Neratec Solutions AG («Neratec»), Westermo Network Technology AB («Westermo») strengthens its technology offering mainly to the rail industry by bringing in Neratec’s leading WLAN products, which can now be marketed through Westermo’s existing global distribution network. Neratec will become the competence center for all wireless solutions within Westermo.

The two sellers Jussi Harju and Hans Kaufmann have successfully built up Neratec over the past 25 years and established an impressive portfolio of international customers. Both sellers will continue to run Neratec as general managers to further develop the business and its defined growth strategy together with Westermo. At the same time, the sale has laid the foundation for the implementation of a stepwise succession plan over the next few years. The Bubikon site will be retained with all existing employees and will be further expanded over the coming years.
