ATP acquires majority stake in Mint Architecture
Mint Architecture, which specializes in commercial and user-oriented architecture, has welcomed a new majority shareholder. The Messerli Group has sold its stake to the Europe-wide planning group ATP architects engineers (ATP). With its new strong shareholder, Mint Architecture plans to further continue its growth strategy.
Mint Architecture was founded in 1995 by Thomas Stiefel as a retail partner. The Messerli Group acquired a majority stake in 2006. In 2017, the architecture firm expressed its successful expansion into new client markets and its specialization in commercial architectural projects with a relaunch and renaming of the firm to Mint Architecture. The architectural office now employs around 50 people (architects, interior designers, economists and market analysts).
The new majority shareholder ATP is considered a pioneer of the BIM planning method (Building Information Modeling). In the DACH and CEE countries, ATP is implementing challenging projects in interdisciplinary teams providing architectural, structural, building services engineering and object supervision services throughout the entire planning and construction process until the project is handed over to the facility management. ATP’s own research and special planning offices as well as consulting subsidiaries support clients in planning their projects. With its stake in Mint Architecture, ATP has access to further valuable know-how for the Group.
