Rootworx acquires WBI AG
Rootworx Group (a platform of Ufenau Capital Partners) has joined forces with WBI AG. This strategic acquisition marks Rootworx’s market entry into Switzerland, expanding the platform beyond its German footprint and further strengthens its capabilities in critical infrastructure.
By adding WBI’s experienced team, Rootworx expands its capabilities with additional engineering and planning expertise across the entire project lifecycle; from feasibility studies and design to tendering, construction management and commissioning. Customers will benefit from strong local presence combined with Rootworx’s group-wide know-how in transport, urban/municipal, water and energy infrastructure.
The acquisition of WBI AG is another important step in Rootworx’s strategy: the goal is to build a leading engineering group for sustainable and resilient infrastructure, combining regional proximity to clients with scalable technical expertise across locations.
