Bangying Ren

Bangying Ren studied electronic engineering at Beijing Polytechnic University and Tsinghua University, graduating as master of engineering. In 1982, he came to Switzerland to study at ETH Zurich’s BWI Center for Industrial Management. He then worked as a development engineer, project manager and finally in management for various Swiss industrial companies, particularly in the areas of development, production management, logistics and acquisition & integration. In 2001, he worked for the industrial group Georg Fischer before being appointed CEO of the Sino-Swiss joint venture Chinaust in 2002.
