Enz Group joins the GarLa Group
The sale and affiliation to the GarLa Group will secure the future of Enz Group AG. The existing locations in Giswil, Kägiswil, Engelberg, Seedorf and Zug will be retained and the business activities will be expanded and further developed together with the buyer.
The Enz Group AG («Enz Group») has been successfully built up by Mr. Markus Enz and Mrs. Esther Enz since its foundation in 1997 and has been further developed until today. As part of a long-term succession plan, the family has decided to sell the ope-rative business operated in the Enz Group to the GarLa Grupppe. With its range of services for landscaping and gardening, the Enz Group offers an ideal complement to the existing activities of the GarLa Group. The operating companies of the Enz Group will work closely with the other group companies of the buyer in the future.
After the transaction, the subsidiaries of the Enz Group will continue to be managed under their previous names and by the existing management team. Markus Enz will remain with the company as a member of the Executive Board and the Board of Directors. In addition, the Enz family will take a minority stake in the combined group of companies as part of the transaction. The current locations in Giswil, Kägiswil, Engelberg, Seedorf and Zug are to be further strengthened in the coming years in cooperation with the other subsidiaries of the GarLa Group.
For the employees, customers and business partners of the Enz Group, nothing will fundamentally change as a result of the transaction. On the contrary, the merger will result in an expanded range of services, with which the clientele will be served even more comprehensively and the employees will be able to actively contribute. All employees of the Enz Group will continue to be employed after the completion of the transaction.
